Roasted Chicken Shawarma
We think that chicken shawarmas are kind of like a delicacy comfort food. In many cases, it passes as a delicious dish that everyone enjoys, but it’s so good in taste that some might even call it a fantastic kosher comfort food. So we thought that we should make a recipe here for you and your family to enjoy! Use this recipe for chicken wraps or eat it on its own! Let’s begin, shall we?

What you’ll need:
2 chicken breasts
5 cloves minced garlic
3 tsp paprika
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp turmeric
3 cumin powder
3 tsp ground pepper
1 tsp salt
1 sliced large onion
2 lemons
1/3 cup olive oil
1 tsp pepper flakes
Sauce Ingredients:
1/2 cup olive oil
5 cloves garlic
1/4 lemon juice
2 tsp salt
1 egg white
Directions:
In a medium sized bowl, combine olive oil, black pepper, paprika, pepper flakes, lemon juice, garlic, cinnamon and whisk them all together. Toss the chicken in the bowl to marinade. Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and let it sit in the refrigerator overnight.
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Add in the sliced onion to the bowl that that the whole marinade is coated with it. Add the contents in a baking dish, and bake for about 40 minutes. Add the garlic sauce, and enjoy!
Directions for Garlic Sauce:
Add all the ingredients in a blender and pulse it for about a minute.
